    Analysison on Prospecting Effect of Geochemical Secondary Halo in Shuiquangou Area of Inner Mongolia

    • 摘要: 水泉沟矿区在找矿初期,开展了1:1万次生晕地球化学测量扫面工作。通过对该区异常的分析、筛选、野外地表检查、评价,圈定综合异常4处。为了对综合异常成因进一步的了解,对矿区圈定的异常区重点地段进一步开展了大比例尺(1:2000)次生晕和地质综合剖面测量,详细的分解和解剖了异常地质成因,明确了区内的找矿方向,选定了下一步找矿靶区,为该区地质找矿工作提供了可靠的基础性化探资料。利用槽探对优选靶区异常进行地表查证,采用钻探工程对靶区槽探查证发现的矿体深部进行揭露,扩大了矿体规模。截至目前已发现多条工业矿体,增加了资源储量。充分证明了次生晕地球化学找矿方法在该区效果显著。

       

      Abstract: 1:10 000 secondary halo geochemical survey was conducted at the initial stage of ore prospecting in Shuiquangou area. Through analysis, screening, field inspection and evaluation of the anomalies in this area, 4 comprehensive anomalies were identified.To further understand the genesis of the comprehensive anomaly, large scale (1:2000) secondary halo and comprehensive geological profile survey were carried out in the key abnormal sections delineated in the mining areas, making it clear the the prospecting direction and the prospecting target for the next step, providing basic geochemical data for the future geological prospecting work.Surface verification of the anomalies was done using trenching in the preferred target area. Drilling engineering exposed the deep orebody, expanding the scale of the orebody. Up to now, a number of industrial orebodies have been discovered, increasing the reserves of resources.The geochemical secondary halo prospecting method is proved to be effective in this area.
