    Geological Characteristics and Exploration Symbols of the Hongliugou Copper Deposits in AltynTagh

    • 摘要: 阿尔金红柳沟铜矿床位于阿尔金山北缘构造带,产于蓟县系马特克布拉克组(Zjm)中。矿体上下盘围岩为安山玄武岩和变绿泥石粉砂岩及含铁质的变长英质砂岩,含矿层底部为基性-超基性岩体。矿化与安山质玄武岩关系密切,矿体受层位控制明显,且矿化不稳定,呈断续的似层状、透镜状产出。矿石有黄铁矿、磁黄铁矿、黄铜矿、辉铜矿和斑铜矿等。矿石见条带状、角砾状构造,胶状结构。综合分析认为,矿床是中基性火山岩喷发形成矿源层,后经构造和热水改造形成的火山喷流-热水沉积改造型铜矿床。特定层位、蚀变露头及物探异常等可以作为区域找矿标志。

       

      Abstract: Hongliugou copper deposit is located in the northern AltynTagh tectonic belt, and produced in Matekebulake Group of Jixian System. The footwall rocks of ore body are meta-siltstone, meta-ferruginous felsic sandstone layer, which are overlaid by andesite-basalt, with the basic-ultrabasic rock body developed under the foot wall rock. The mineralization has close relationship with andesitic basalts, the ore bodies are controlled by strata,and the mineralizationis unstable, which is occurred as intermittent stratoid and lenticular shapes. Pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, chalcocite and borniteserve as the main ore minerals. Banded, brecciated textures and colloidal structures are often seen in these ore rocks. Comprehensive analysis shows that Hongliugou copper deposit hadformed in the volcano rock during the pre-enriching process and experienced late tectonic and hydrothermal activity, thus this deposit belongs to sedimentary-structural-hydrothermal-reconstrcuction type. After researching as well as contrasting the analyzed results,it is found that some symbols can be utilized as exploration marks, such as zonal intrusive rock symbols, stratum symbols, the characteristics of wall rock alteration and geophysical anomalies.
