Abstract:
In north Hanyin area of Ankang City, more than a dozen gold deposits with various sizes have been found in the Lower Silurian Meiziya Formation, forming several gold mineralization belts with large scale. In structural location, these gold mineralization belts are just located in a few typical brittle-ductile shear zones in this area. It has been ascertained that these gold ore bodies are controlled by the brittle-ductile shear zone. The foliations of these shear zone experience intense replacement, with complicated deformation. There is still controversy about the foliation staging and the relationship between foliation and mineralization in this area. The Huanglong gold deposit is similar to other gold deposits in this gold belt. To find out the above problems, the Huanglong gold deposit has been selected as the research object. Through carrying out the field route investigation and rock-mineral identification, as well as studying the typical tectonic sections in recent years, more than three stages of deformation metamorphic new foliations have been discovered in this brittle-ductile shear zone. The macroscopic and microscopic features of the metamorphic structure are typical, in which the S
2 foliation formed in the second phase of the main deformation period is typical, its deformation signs are strong and complex, and its occurrences are more concentrated. The hydrothermal alteration minerals, such as biotite metacrystal and garnet, are developed along S
2 foliation that formed in the intracontinental orogeny of the South Qinling Mountains. In its formation and evolution process, the S
2 foliation is closely related with gold mineralization.
