    Ore-controlling Factors, Metallogenic Mechanism and Model of the Longkonggou Gold Deposit in Qinghai

    • In this paper, the Longkongou gold deposit has been selected as the research object to study the ore-controlling factors and mineralization mechanism of this deposit, and to establishe the related metallogenic model. Firstly, the stratigraphic, tectonic and magmatic rocks in this study area and adjacent area have been sμmmarized. Then, the characteristics of ore body, ore quality, ore structure and gold natural state of the Longkonggou gold deposit have been described respectively. Finally, based on the ore-controlling factors and mineralization mechanism, the metallogenic model was established. The results show that the dominant ore-controlling factor is not stratigraphic factors and the intrusive rock mass, but the shearing structure and ore-forming fluid. The ore-forming process is this deposit formed from the ore-forming elements in the ore source layer, which were activated, migrated and accμmulated in the tectonic alteration zone. The metallogenic model is a medium-low temperature hydrothermal mineralization closely related to the structural fracture zone.
