    Fault Identification by the Coherency Attributes

    • The seismic attributes can be used to improve the accuracy and speed of the 3D earthquake interpretation, which can save the cost and are benefit to the mine safety production. On the basis of the analysis of the coherency attributes, the Yongcheng coal mine is selected as the research area. First, the optimal parameters of the coherent properties have been chosen correctly, and the coherency attributes have been applied to obtain the data body. And then, the strip is extracted from the property data body. Finally, the seismic profile has been obtained after the seismic data was processed by coherent body. The seismic profile processed by coherent body is clearer to indicate the formation and fault than that don't processed. The coherence method is a promising seismic profile interpretation method.
